The full Omega Film Institute curriculum for Nepal — what you learn, in what order, the hours behind each module, and the portfolio you walk out with.
Every program below is broken into modules. Each module lists what you actually do, the rough hours it takes, and how it builds toward the next. Hours are guided studio time on the tools — most students train part-time over evenings and weekends, so a 60-hour program typically runs around eight weeks.
Modules are sequenced the way professionals actually learn — foundation first, finishing last. You can join a single program or stack several.
Most programs need nothing but curiosity. Where a program assumes editing basics, we say so — and point you to the right starting course.
Every program ends with a deliverable you keep: an edit, a grade, a shoot, a reel — built on real Nepali footage, ready to show a client or employer.
No memorising slides. You're assessed continuously on the work you make, with a graded capstone and a portfolio milestone for each program.
The foundation of modern media — cut for story, rhythm and emotion on real footage.
How an edit tells a story: shot selection, pacing and the language of the cut, broken down on real Nepali wedding films and music videos.

Matching different cameras and angles across a wedding or music-video timeline so the film feels like one piece.

Across every program the standard is the same: you're assessed continuously on the projects you make, with honest, direct feedback from working mentors in small batches. Each program ends with a graded capstone and a portfolio milestone you keep.
Mentors review your work as you make it, not in a single exam at the end. You always know where you stand and what to fix next.
Every program closes with a complete real deliverable — an edit, grade, shoot or reel — assessed against professional standards.
Finish a program and earn an OFI certificate — but the portfolio you walk out with is what actually gets you hired.
The strongest, most committed graduates receive direct job support and referrals to studios and production houses that are hiring.
Hours are guided studio time on the tools. Most students train part-time over evenings and weekends, so a 60-hour program usually runs around eight weeks. Tell us your availability and we'll map a realistic schedule.
Within a program, yes — modules are sequenced so each one builds on the last. Across programs you're free to start where you like and stack several, though we'll always suggest a sensible path.
For most people, Video Editing is the ideal foundation — the most in-demand skill and the base for almost everything else. If you're drawn to the camera or to color, you can start there instead.
No. You can start with what you have and train on our equipment. We'll guide you on what's worth buying as you grow, but a lack of gear should never stop you from beginning.
You earn an OFI certificate of completion, but employers in Nepal hire on portfolio and skill. That's exactly what this curriculum is built to give you — and top graduates receive direct job support.
