OFI Year Book Policy

Omega Film Institute publishes an official Year Book every year to preserve and celebrate the memories, achievements, and creative journey of each academic year. The Year Book documents classes, workshops, projects, events, behind-the-scenes moments, and student life at OFI, featuring all enrolled students and faculty who were part of that year. It serves as a lasting record of learning, collaboration, and growth within the OFI community.

Availability & Cost

The OFI Year Book is made available to all students free of cost. Students may collect their copy in person from the OFI office during designated collection periods. Copies will not be handed over through third parties to avoid loss or damage.

Free Worldwide Delivery for Contributors

Students who actively contribute to the Year Book — through written reflections, articles, interviews, photographs, creative inputs, or approved content — are eligible to receive the Year Book delivered to their residential address anywhere in the world at no additional cost. Contribution approval is solely at the discretion of the OFI editorial team.

Shipping Charges for Non-Contributors

Students or individuals who have not contributed to the Year Book and are unable to collect their copy from the office must pay an additional shipping and handling charge of NPR 500. This amount covers packaging and postal delivery costs.

Editorial Rights & Content Use

OFI retains full editorial control over the Year Book, including content selection, design, layout, and final publication. Submission of content grants OFI the right to edit, publish, or omit material as deemed appropriate. Once published, the Year Book content may be used by OFI for archival, promotional, and institutional purposes.

Limited Print & Reprints

The Year Book is printed in limited quantities. Requests for replacement copies or reprints may not be accommodated and, if available, will be charged separately based on printing costs.

Changes to These Rules

OFI may update or change these rules at any time. Updates will be posted on the website or notice board. By continuing your studies, you agree to follow the latest version.

By enrolling, you accept these terms

Admission to any OFI course confirms that you have read these terms and agree to follow them for the full duration of your studies.
